Sound familiar?

Whichever system you were trained on, the failure shows up the same way: the patient comes back.

If you place one-piece implants with o-balls or fixed abutments, the restoration gets cemented on. Fast on the day. Then the cement is in the tissue, the bone goes, and there is no way to take the crown off to fix it.

If you place two-piece implants with multi-units, a 1.4 mm screw carries the whole arch through a stack of multi-units. The screw loosens or breaks, the multi-unit goes with it, and the patient loses cross-arch stabilization on a bridge you have to rebuild.
